Loved this and am not sure why. It is a universal story about discontent and finding contentment. Descriptions are brilliant. I could smell the curry. (*****)
Finally - a book I've read! The only other one I saw was Guns of August (and mine for Siddhartha) - and I haven't read either of those! I wonder if we're specifically the Dover Thrift editions?? If I could be a book of my own choosing, it would be a Barnes and Noble pocket-sized "Collector's Library" edition of Jane Eyre.
So - do you speak with an accent? ;)
