My toddler had reached that age when everything is "My Do". He does not want any help though he needs it. He wants to cook popcorn, pour milk, put on his shoes, and does not want to hold my hand to cross the parking lots. I believe this is why they call this the Terrible Twos but I chose to look at this is just another phase in his growing up.
It is not so terrible and at times it is cute like today at the post office. We were trying to mail some packages and there was a lunch hour line. (why did I go at noon?) As we were waiting he tried to use the camera for passports so I had to hold him. He placed his chubby hands on my cheeks and planted a big kiss on my cheek and then said, "Now get down?" How young they learn that mom can be bought with sweet kisses. He did not get to get down though and I called his bluff. Thank you for the sweet kiss but I am not going to have to buy the post office a new camera.
Ahh, that is sweet!!
I miss my little babies, they are growing up so fast!! My 11 yo thinks he's a teenager and sometimes can drive me crazy but others he is soo precious.
When I look at older pictures of my "babies" I always ask, what happened to my baby and kids laugh and say we're right here.

Before I had kids, we got to experience baby/toddler hood through our pastor's oldest son. He cut his teeth on the arm of an antique rocker! I encouraged her to treasure those tiny teeth marks. He just graduated highschool... she treasures them more than ever now!
