I remember the days when that is what summer meant. This summer actually feels busier than the school year. 3 Teenagers going in different directions - looking for jobs, doing fundraisers for missions trips, college prep, drivers' ed., Korea... It's a unique season of life. I love it, but a good book while the kids run through the sprinkler, or eating a popsicle on the porch while we watch the hummingbirds sure sounds nice. *sigh*

I love summer time too. Now, I have my kids home all the time now but before homeschooling it was "MY TIME" with my kids. I love the laziness of summer and hate when we get too busy.

Enjoy your summer!

I love how your little one calls Autopia "Vrooms. That is the cutest. As a past Disneyland Cast Member i love hearing (or reading) about families getting to enjoy the magic there. They make for great memories!

Awww, I'm jealous. I wanna go! I'm glad you had such a tremendous time though. ; )

I'm glad your crew had a great vacation! Yes, I've been thinking the same things, how nice summer-time is. For me it means lots of time playing in the dirt too. But my kids are gardening alongside me, and that's been so enjoyable. I've been so sore though, from all the work, and thinking how nice: I'm getting a good work-out each day, AND the tan, and will soon have some organic produce to boot! Yes, it's a lovely time of year.
blessings!
