I'm having a Pity Party or sitting on my pity pot as mother use to say.
Cherish your mom. Treat her like a queen. Appreciate all she does for you even if it is not much. Forgive her for all those times she embarrassed you. Sit and listen to her stories. Laugh at her jokes even if they are not funny.
I would trade all my worldly possessions for an hour with her today.
Oh, I'm sorry. I can't imagine. I don't live near my mom but I call her several times a day.
Thanks for the reminder to appreciate what we have while we have it. I'll be thinking of you today.

Hey girl! I am thinking about you! I have been sitting on the internet trying to find info about my birth mom....isn't that crazy. I go through times that I think I would really like to find her~

I remember all the conversations we had about who she might be and what she would be like. I am glad you have an awsome adopted mom and dad.

Athena,
Thank you for all your encouragement! I'm blessed that you felt Redwall was a worthy undertaking due to my posts! I love all his books and the man himself (Jacques) is just as lovely. Don't stop at Redwall, read all 18. They have taught me so much about life, being a friend, seeing beauty, standing for what is right, forging my own path, and so much more. Whenever I pick one up now I wonder at who I will be when I finish it.
About this post on your mom. We just returned from a trip that my in-laws gave us for Christmas. The greatest thing about it was that they didn't just buy us tickets, they came too! We spent 8 solid days with them and it was something our family will never forget. My own mom lives here in town with me. I love it. I dread the day I no longer have her.
You are in my prayers :)

Hugs for you and a sweet prayer for your comfort. I hope I can be a mom that someone misses. Be well.

I lost my mom 2-1/2 years ago, and I regret the time lost on a daily basis. (((Hugs)))
