What if there were a boy's school here? What would it look like? Who would send their boys there? What would it teach? How would you even go about starting a school? Is it practical in this day and age to have a single sex school? Could it be spiritual without having to be "a christian school"? Who would you even approach if you wanted to start such a school? How do you start a school? Can new schools be started? Can it be made affordable to the average parent so as not to be elitist? Can someone who has the vision find someone who has the details? And then can you find someone who has the money? Just wondering..............
We are sooooo on the same wavelength. Here's a sight I found on charter schools which I'm not sure would fit the bill, but it's good info.

I used to teach at a school in Birmingham, AL that was private (Christian) but it was for urban kids. The tuition was income based and the rest was corporately sponsored. Here's their link:

Finally, the man who started that school (Vernard Gant) now works for ACSI:

They may be too dogmatic about doctrine, but it's somewhere to start.
I've always thought girl's schools were so important, but now that I have a son a boy's school sounds equally important.
This sounds so cool!

When we seem to be such kindred spirits why do we live so far apart?
I am seriously going to look into it. It is a bit scary when you think about all the details and I am not a detail person. I really need to find someone who is into details.
