A Sad Day or The Great Missing Minivan Caper

Today is a sad day at our house. My minivan has gone missing. I am sure someone saw its beautiful picture on this site and decided they must have it for themselves. My hubbie went out at 6:15 this morning and it was gone. It was there last night before we went to bed. Why would someone take something that does not belong to them. Were they absent the day they went over this in Sunday School? Were they not listening when the teacher got on to someone else for taking something? What is in the mentality of a thief? I just don't get it. The other day at Lowe's I found something in the cart we had not paid for. I took it back in and paid for it. It cost $3.45. In the grand scheme of things this light bulb was not a big deal but it was to me. How can I teach my children about honesty if I am not honest. If you see someone driving around in it, please tell them that they have God's minivan.

Another night

Maybe if I had time to post during the day I might be more eloquent. Today went pretty well. Baby is back to his sweet ole self. We managed to go the story-time at the local library and had a gourmet lunch of chicken nuggets and french fries. Butch and Sundance's best friend from church was there with her grandmother so that was a sweet surprise. We came home and Baby took a nap. The twins even were quiet for an hour and let me get a nap. I am so renewed. I can't believe how much I miss the days when they napped for 2 hours every afternoon. Sometimes I wish those days were back but I am so glad they are becoming such wonderful young boys. Now if they would just go to sleep at night.....

Go to sleep little baby

Baby has had rota-virus for the past 8 days. He is finally seeing the end of it. It attacks the small intestines and causes vomiting and diarrhea. This is bad in a baby of almost 11 months in that they can get dehydrated. Saturday we almost took him to the hospital but tried giving him Pedialite which he wouldn't drink until I spiked it with Sprite. (smart baby) I am very tired and so is he. He hasn't slept for the whole night in over a week. I hope tonight he can get some sleep. Today he napped for 4 hours which is a miracle in itself. I had him to sleep tonight but then Butch and Sundance in usual twin form WOKE HIM UP. I got so mad. I know they are only little boys but sometimes I think they do these things on purpose like they sit around and think, "What can we do to get Mom really mad tonight." Oh finally, silence. I think I will get to bed too since it is now midnight.  Well, it is only 11:49 but close enough. When will they finally go to sleep without so much fuss. I know when they are teenagers I won't be able to get them out of bed. But until then.....
